Carrie Cassimere has a Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University and 30 + graduate hours in Education at the University of New Orleans. She has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum in the school setting since 2002. Ms. Cassimere has been the driving force in the development of the PATH Program for the students at The Chartwell Center, guiding these students from the school environment to the work environment. She enjoys teaching these students to successfully transfer their skills to the work and community environment, which increases their confidence and self-respect as well as personal independence.
Prior to 2002, Ms. Cassimere provided treatment to adolescents and their families for approximately 15 years through Associated Catholic Charities. She has been life long resident in the New Orleans region.
